TesT all-purpose testing machines in a design for bench use are the centerpiece of our program and are universal in their application. They were developed for use in research and teaching and to verify quality criteria at maximum precision. They can be modified to suit the specifics of the task. |
In contrast to normal practice, adaptability for component testing was the premise which TesT used when designing these units and the associated electronics and software. As we see it, "component testing" involves the examination of all components, either finished or in-process, for proper functioning and/or strength, regardless of the material from which they may be manufactured, irrespective of their ultimate use. Flexibility in the hardware and especially in the software is decisive here. |
Of course, TesT can also supply software packages written to comply with applicable standards for testing metals, plastics, paper and cardboard, and many other materials. |
Model 106 is a single-column unit. Like every TesT all-purpose, table-top testing machine, Model 106 is equipped with a DC motor and a high-resolution 4-quadrant drive upon which the digital signal generated by the electronics and software is superimposed. |
